So, I feel that, maybe I've reached the end of the road with my art. The enjoyment seems to have disappeared. I haven't really achieved anything with it. And I can't really see how I can take it any further. It seems to be more a haunting exercise than a reflective one these days. Time seems to have slipped away, and maybe it's time to say, enough is enough.

How Time Flies

Quite a bit has changed since my last entry so I thought I'd give another little update: Firstly, I have now finished university. It does not seem three years ago that I was nervously first starting my course. A lot of it was great fun, and a lot of it (particularly most of the work) was rather tedious, and at several points I really did wonder why I was doing it. Nevertheless, I stuck with it, and by some miracle, managed to achieve a first class honours degree...from Oxford. Pretty nifty, even if I do say so myself. So there is a lesson: never give up and stick with it, no matter what it is, because it'll be worth it in the end. As a resu

So, I realised the other day it had been 18 months since I last wrote something here, during the last Ashes series. I thought it was fitting, England having just retained the Ashes in Melbourne a mere 5 minutes ago, that I update it again. 2010 has been a tough year, and one where my art has taken a bit of a back seat. However I think I've advanced a lot and produced some of my best and biggest works. This month has been busy on the commission front however, with 2 done already this vacation and another to come shortly. 2011 promises to be far more productive, with two mural projects to be completed which should be the largest and more impres
