this is a painting based on a fantastic photo by a fellow deviant:
[link] i really loved the intense colours and thought it had huge potential for abstracting and using Wynter's technique. I am really impressed with the outcome. It's vibrant and the variety of brushstrokes help create the sense of the many smaller droplets, but in a much quicker and abstract fashion. I wanted to contrast the larger droplets with the background so i outlined them in black to create an almost graphic feel. Overall, i am very pleased. acrylic on canvas, about 5 hours |
